As 2019 begins, we are excited to share news of Dimensional Energy's growth and the many development opportunities for our HI-Light technology. After setting up our new lab at Cornell University’s McGovern Family Center for Venture Development in the Life Sciences, our all-star team of chemists and engineers have been working hard to unlock the potentials of photocatalysis. Read on to see what we’re up to!

Next Phase Of Development With Shell
In October, Jason flew to Amsterdam to present the data from 8 months of experiments with our HI-Light 100 and HI-Light 1000 reactors to a panel convened by the members of Shell’s GameChanger program. After a thorough follow up discussion between the whole DE team and the Shell panel, we were approved for another round of funding, Throughout 2018, the team was able to demonstrate that industrially relevant conversions might be achieved at significantly lower temperatures and pressures than conventionally used today, through use of the HI-Light reactor . The work that we have planned for the next 9 months will yield a highly optimized platform for photocatalysis research and will set the stage for scaling up HI-Light to become an industrial scale product.

NSF Phase 2 Awarded
In September, Dimensional Energy was awarded an NSF Phase 2 award. We are honored to be a part of the National Science Foundation program. Over the next 2 years, we will continue to work with Professors David Erickson and Tobias Hanrath at Cornell University to optimize key features of the reactor platform.
We're a Carbon XPrize Finalist
Dimensional Energy has made it to the Carbon XPrize finals. Two of ten teams will win $7.5 million based on ability to convert in excess of two tons of CO2 to high value products. Dimensional Energy and five other teams will be installing pilot scale units downstream from a power-generating station in Gillette, Wyoming. The other five teams will be installing in Calgary. This will be a demonstration of 10 of the most advanced technologies for upcycling carbon dioxide emissions. We are honored to be a part of the action here.

We Are Hiring!
As Dimensional Energy has grown, our operations have grown more complex and we need help! We are currently looking for a qualified CTO to take over management of the research and development of HI-Light. Feel free to email our CEO, Jason, at jason@dimensionalenergy.net if you or someone you know is qualified and interested!
From all of us here at Dimensional Energy we wish you a happy new year!
With gratitude,
Jason and the team
